Samuel J. Hess is an award winning theatrical and concert lighting designer based out of Whitewater Wisconsin. A trained theatrical electrician, he is the Assistant Technical Director at Young Auditorium as well as the Co-Technical Director at Fort Atkinson’s Auditorium. A theatre major at University of Wisconsin Whitewater, he is the president of the Cultural Performing Arts Council, in charge of bringing in the arts from around the world to Young Auditorium. Samuel continues his work in design by pursuing his IATSE membership. He is excited about the future of technology and to push the field of concert lighting.
